'98 T4R - how to take power door locks and connect them to a remote start system?
I have a '98 SR5. I have a Valet 561R Remote Start system that also allows me to lock/unlock the vehicle via the remote key fob. However, the lock/unlock part is not hooked up...
Anyone have experience or pictures? I've looked at wiring diagrams but it doesn't seem to help - because in the end, I'm still looking for the actual plug and am still pretty confused...
Do I somehow take the lock/unlock plugs out of where ever they plug into the Toyota box and plug them into the Valet box? do I run the Valet box in series or what?

The part where it says a "10 pin plug to the left of the fuse box - that doesn't make sense?
Is the fuse box to the direct left and just under the steering wheel?
Or is that under the hood?
How do I connect them?
I'm assuming that I need to take the door panel plastic off? Is that what it means when the plugs are to the left of the fuse box, that they are in the door?
So confused...
Also, really stupid question, I know - but how do I know that both the manual, turn the key lock in the door will work along with the key fob if they are both hitched up?
How does this work? Would really appreciate some help - do not want to blow money on the mechanic taking it all apart and doing it themselves...
