99 4Runner-Daystar 2.5-torn CV Boots

I had the Daystar 2.5 inch lift installed about 3K miles ago and both front boots have torn. Any suggestions on what to do to avoid this problem in the future?
At the time of the install, the shop also installed new struts and shocks.

Diff drop will help. Another option is to pull the boots out toward the center of CV shaft so the "pleats" don't touch and rub on each other as the tire rotates. You will likely need to remove (and replace) the metal band/clamp to do this. If you are removing the shafts for repair is easier to do off the truck.

See, the angle of the CV increased with the lift causing the boot's pleats to touch and wear on the one next to it.

Could have been age of the boots too.

If your spacers are the type mount on top of the coil top hats, they increase droop beyond the designed allotment.

One of the boots was just recently replaced about 3k miles ago. The other is/was still original with about 125k miles. It is odd that they both went out at the same time.
