I had a friend do a tune up to my 4runner, base model, 4 cylinder 2.7L 2WD, he changed the spark plugs & wires, air filter, and oil filter. He also adjusted the idle because it was idling a little rough. It drove great on my way back home but when I went to start it 3 days later it wouldn't start. There is no check engine light coming on. I had a mobile mechanic come out and check it out and he sprayed some starter fluid in the hose leading from the air filter and it started up. He continued testing out the cylinders, spark plugs and wires and can't seem to figure why it wasn't starting. The idol is rough again and after he left I tried to start it several hours later and again it won't start. Anyone have an idea on what this might be? I've read about the mass air flow sensor and it seems to do what it's saying but in all the articles I've read it said the check engine light will come on and mine hasn't. It turns over, just wont start. Also, I have a full tank of gas so that's not the problem. Please help!
