I had a busy weekend...I installed the '99 tall coils & Tokico shocks on my Wifes '97 4Runner.
Was not as bad as I thought it would be. Of course, I am not in the "rust belt", so nothing was rusted on.
Overall, it would seem I gained an inch all the way around, as other people have reported for the '97 upgrade.
Pictures are Before and After, in order.
Measurement pictures are drivers side, rear.
The ride is much improved. The old shocks were totally worn out. Much smoother on the road, cornering is better, much less body roll, etc... The stance looks way better than the pictures can show. I noticed an improvement, but my Wife couldn't tell a thing had been done. Oh well
