99 Highlander rear coil springs..?

Apologies, I had a link to where the part numbers were listed (02 4WD Limited), but now I cannot find 'em. Any help would be appreciated.

Also, I have Bilstein 4600 HD's to install at the same time (duh), does the rear benefit from adding spacers for slightly more lift? Does this work with the Bil 4600's? Really just looking to eliminate that saggy ass, lolZ. Thanks!

The part number for the 99 highlander rear coils is 48231 - 35210.

I have them on mine and are happy with them but they do sag with my tools and emergency stuff in the back. I installed airbags to level things out and haven't looked back.

If you are buying new springs, why not look into the OME2906? They are cheaper than the OEM 99s, they will handle a load better and they will not need airbags. They will sit a little taller (approx. 1 inch) than the 99s so you may not want that. You can use the 4600s with the OME2906s too.

Excellent! Thank ya. 1 inch or so would be fine as I load the back up with camping stuff during the summer.

True, but they are going to net you about an inch over the new 99 talls you were considering.

By all means, do some research before you pull the pin. I wouldn't want to steer you wrong, just speaking from experience.

5th gen rears are ever so slightly taller than the 99 talls and hold weight decently. You can usually find a set for dirt cheap with very low miles. I have them and am more than satisfied.

I'm not sure it is that much, as long as there is no weight in the back. I run new 906s with my factory '99 tall fronts and I have the perfect slight forward rake. The '99 rears, even new, just sagged too much with even moderate weight. I am much happier with the 906s.
