99+ Intermittent AC Head Unit Issues

Hi. I seem to be having some intermittent AC head unit issues.

60% of the time it seems to work fine.

The other 40% it kind of just has a mind of it's own or just flashes. Like this:

Usually, I turn the truck off then into the on position if it works normally I start the truck. If it doesn't I do that a couple times and it seems to go back to normal.

My thought is it has to do with the pentameter and could use a bit of electrical engineering refresh. Not too sure.

Does anybody have any thoughts? If my assumption is true. Would anybody on the forum know where I could send it off to for a tune up? Happy to remove it and ship it off for a fix.

Check the connections on the back of the control. Disconnect them and click them back in place. The problem your having is different then the normal issues. You may need a new logic board if your issues persist. Contact the other poster from the Great White North as he really seems to have all the answers :blabla::canada::der:

LOL. Obviously, your "feelings" have been hurt for years. Oh and I'm from Jersey. We don't have feelings.
