Trying to figure out what lift to get. Want it to sit close to level as possible. Im looking at getting the 3" Lift Kit with front and rear OME coils or 3" Lift Kit w/spacers, rear OME coils, & diff-drop kit. Was wondering which would be the best way to go. I only to very slight off roading not much articulation on what i do just basically muddy roads going in and out of hunting club. Only really looking at running a 285 70 17 tire. And if i run this lift do i need to change the panhard bar. and where to get it if needed. I have tried to research it on here and have come up with nothing thanks.

In my opinion for your needs, I would get the OME coils and shocks. No spacers and no diff drop. You can get an adjustable panhard bar at Home - Toytec Lifts: Toyota Lift Kits: FJ Cruiser Lift Kits, Tacoma Lift Kits, Tundra Lift Kits, 4 Runner Lift Kits, Sequoia Lift Kits, Toyota Truck Lift Kits also check out Sonoran Steel, Sonoran Steel Custom Metal Fabrication L.L.C. Custom Toyota Truck Parts Sonoran Steel and Toytec have many complete lifts and parts. Also have you read this: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/3rd-gen-t4rs/66976-3rd-gen-4runner-lift-information-faq-s.html

you don't NEED ext break lines. i've flexed pretty good on my 97 and that line only barley gets extended sometimes. since you're not going to be doing anything too crazy, i wouldn't say its necessary.

for the rear just go with the ome coils you're looking at and rear shocks (get them wherever you get your coils)

there's tons of different choices, your'e going to have to read the lift faq though. we can't really tell you what you want. some guys swear by extended panhard bars, others say its not necessary. you're just going to find out why some of us think what we do and make the decision on your own. then you'll thank us for making you do that later.

Gonna go with the bilstein 5100's with my stock springs on the 2.5 setting and the ome 906's on rear and bilstein shocks and try to not run the panhard bar at this time. What you think? Gonna sit level and clear the 285's? Thansk for everyones help.

Just ordered the lift. I went with the 890s in the rear with the 5100s and adjustable 5100s in the front. Gonna set it on the 2.5 setting with stock coils on front. I hope is sits fairly close to level and not run into any hidden problems. Not gonna be doing alot of trail riding so hope it suits me. Thanks for everyones help.

I think you mean 5125 for rear... At least that's what i remember going in the rear. If it is, your rear end is going to feel much nicer than the front and you'll probably end up upgrading the front springs. Preloading the springs, especially the stock ones that are 10+ years old, isn't desirable. You'll see. Good luck on the install. Let us know how it turns out

Yeah its the 5100 on the rear. I started to order the OME's for the front but didnt want to do the diff drop and all that. Just ordered my tires. Well i ordered BFG KM2s and Nitto Trail Grapplers. Putting them on my factory five star wheels trying to figure out if i want the nitto or bfg. I had km2s on my 87 and bfg at on my 5th gen. I work at a local tire store so gonna put 2 on one side and 2 on the other. I may cut my pan hard bar and extend it.

X2 on extended brake lines, i dont think thats something youll need. I havent extended mine and im running more lift than you plan on

someone can correct me if i'm wrong... but the 5100's will still cause the CV angles to change and you may get grease seepage from the boots. adding a diff drop isn't hard at all. two bolts (big bolts), and that's it. however, the diff drop didn't save me from the grease leak from the cv's.
