99 limited aftermarket stereo install help

Hey guys, i bought a sony double din dvd/cd deck.. the guy at futureshop asked if i had a toyota premium audio system or regular.. we didnt see any JBL emblems on the speakers etc so he figured just regular.. he gave me a kit which looked like this -

this definitely doesnt fit.. everything i can see looks stock on my stereo and i only have ONE harness going into the stock deck and then 2 antenna cables. Anyone have any experience with this? thanks!

I PM'd you back. Take out stock amp and you'll see the plugs you need for the new harness. Good luck.

I think if you had the Limited you have the upgraded stereo system. Might not be the correct harness.

i just replaced the head unit in my 98, and once you take out the factory radio, you must take out the amp, just like they said. Once you do, you will see the needed harness to use for the aftermarket head unit.

And use a crimper instead of wire nuts.

Like others have said, you've got a factory amp back there. Just yank that out and the harness should work just fine.
