99 springs

Were all the '99 springs 1" taller, or just the 99 highlander package? Did the highlander get different springs from the regular sr5? I see people asking specifically for highlander springs so I wondered if there was a difference.

There were two different springs in '99 for 4wd 4/Runners. All Highlanders got the tall springs, plus most other SR5's that left the factory with 16" rims. Trucks built for 15" rims got a shorter set. The tall aka Highlander springs are:

Part Numbers:
Front right 48131-35400 L=368mm
Front left 48131-35350 L=374mm
Rears ( same for both ) 48231-35210

Color Codes:
Fronts: Blue/Pink(left) & Blue/Yellow (right)
Rears: Green/Red

The "Green" in the rear code is a sickly green/yellow and can be mistaken for yellow as it fades with time.

Yea my 4 Runner came with the 99 talls and the exact part number pulls up when at the dealer with the VIN so I am not to sure the Highlander edition was a exclusive. The color codes do match up
