99 sr5 problem

I have a 99 T4R sr5 that has recently started to run rough. The check engine light comes on while I drive it. I took to a garage and they hooked it up to the diagnostic machine and a code misfire on cylinder 2 came up.

We changed the plugs, wires, coil and it ran better but the light came back on and started to run a little rough again.

Has anyone had this problem or are their any suggestions on the fix? Thanks for any help.

Next major suspect is the injector. A close look at that individual plug might have been informative. Sound and resistance check of the injector is called for. After that, a compression check may be advisable to rule out valve or head gasket problem.

I had the same prob. on #3, it was the injector dumping fuel in the fuel rail after I shut off the engine or if I just drove around town at low speeds

I will check the injectors today. After searching through this site it seems like this is a common problem. Once again, thanks for your help.
