99 SR5 Sport - 341K

So I've been surfing the site for a week now, trying to decide just how badly I wanted to get rid of my big ass Chevy Truck for something a little more reasonable now that I'm my wife is pregnant. Seeing all the cool 3rd gens around here really made my mind up.

The truck I picked up is a 1999 SR5 Sport, 1 owner with 341k miles. No that is not a typo, and I will post up pics soon enough. They are all on my work computer and I can't access them from home. Since it doesn't really "need" any work, I plan to lift it and swap the 285/75/16's that I am rolling on my Chevy Z71 right now. I just dropped 800 bucks for tires on my truck, and I plan to sell it to help pay for the Runner, so I figured I could lift the Runner and put on the 285's.

Hello and welcome, shadow! Congrats on the new Runner--hopefully those are well-maintained miles on it from the previous owner (yes, 341k is quite a bit for a fresh purchase). Do you have some plans for regearing in the near future to go with the larger tires? I think you'll find it VERY beneficial, as you're about to move the truck out of it's powerband, and lose some take-off oomph and pulling power. Load some pics when you get the chance, so we can see your Toy. Best of luck!
