99 Tacoma springs and shocks on a 96 runner

I have a 96 4 runner that I would like to lift a few inches. I have found a 99 Tacoma being parted out. I can get the front and rear shock and springs. Would these fit my 4 runner? Would it lift it? What are the pros and cons?

They will fit, but they won't lift it at all. You would simply be swapping a worn out coilover for another worn out coilover.

Not to mention the rear springs from a Tacoma are leaves where as yours are coils so...not gonna work without extensive modification.
