I own a 1998 v6 4runner, for the past few months my starter has been going, i would turn the key and all i would hear would be a clicking sound, and it would start up eventually. This morning while trying to start it, it clicked for a few minutes, and then it just stopped, with that my radio stopped working, my door locks stopped working, my windows no longer work, and all lights on my gauge cluster (check engine light etc....), and clock do not illuminate. The headlights, and most other lights do work though. Does anyone know what could be causing this? I tried replacing the battery with no luck, all fuses seem to be fine.

Check your 40A AM1 fuse. Probably fried your starter relay and that's what fried the AM1.

I'd also make sure your connections are all good and clean, especially your grounds.

The Durk is probably right though, you probably blew a main fuse.

And you'll need to replace the starter contacts.

Tim also have a video and shows how to pull out the starter from the truck.
I also noticed his truck did not have the engine block-exhaust manifold bracket. I and the owner of the above thread has it, so if you have that mount, I am quite sure you cannot get the starter out of the truck. we cannot get the starter out from the truck no matter how I tried.
