I read through a bunch of your build- I can't wait to get the LC80 wheels mounted up. I don't have any center caps and I was wondering how that would look, but I saw your early pics and looks fine! I was figuring on painting my hubs so it won't stand out too much.

Sweet! Yessir it is 4wd- I wouldn't have a use for a 2wd truck.....

I haven't taken many outside pics of it yet, mostly because it's been in my garage on jackstands more than it's been driveable!

Currently.....it is parked.

I took the throttle body off a 2nd time to do a more thorough job of cleaning the IAC valve, as I was getting a high idle after I did it the first time. Well, as I took it apart, I realized there was a vacuum hose that looked I forgot to recconect the first time around. I took it apart anyway, and as I was cleaning it, I soaked the rubber gasket for the IAC with too much carb cleaner, which, if you don't know this, causes rubber gaskets to swell. So now it's too big, it won't go back into the recess it's supposed to, and I had to wait from Friday til tomorrow for my local Toy dealer to get one in.

Anybody have any similar experiences with carb cleaner? Know any tricks for shrinking it back to size?

So I picked up the gasket to night and got 'er all put back together.

Still have a high idle issue. Any ideas where to start looking next for causes?

he asked if my T4R had elocker, which it doesn’t, and he said he gets about 6-8 of them a year. I asked him how much- he said for the rear (drum to drum), wiring harness, and matching front diff (if it was different than mine) he’d do about $400!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:jaw drop: I've been thinking about getting back to Polson and St. Ignatius for a while now. This just might be the incentive that I needed!
