A/C indicator light

Had the dealer check out my "PASS TEMP" indicator light is out ('04 4Runner LTD, 4.7 V8, AWD). Warranty dude says that it is a servicible bulb but I thoght it was a LED. Will not cover replacement of indicator light. Service Tech said he even got the Shop Forman involved but the Warranty Inspector said no dice. I have the 7/100 Toyo Platinum Extended Warranty. If dealer replaces bulb, I am looking at a $250 nut. Is this a coverable issue for the warranty or do I have to contact this desk jockey's boss?

Are you talking about the light on the info panel or the light on the light inside the little little dials? I know for a fact there was a "how to" thread on here about changing the light on the panel, because the left hand side flickered a few months ago.

edit- I think it was a bulb, and people were modding it different colors and putting LEDs in there.

Again, I'm talking about the little info panel.

It is the indicator light in the toggle switch, not the display.
