I have noticed that at times when driving my AC comes on by itself. Is this a sign that the climate control unit is going out? Has anyone had this happen?
Defroster settings usually will make the AC come on. I modded my Tacoma to stop that behavior. I think I'm smart enough to control the compressor myself.
