A/C "Thud"

Guys,

When I engage my AC after starting my truck, I get a slight "thud" from the compressor (clutch I assume). I can feel it in the steering wheel. It's more pronounced than I'm used to, and it seem to be louder if the car's been sitting for a couple of days.

No other weird noises, AC works fine...

Thoughts?

Normal... It's also normal to notice it more after a long sit. All the oil in the system migrates back towards the compressor.

The reason you are feeling it the wheel is that the power steering pump runs off of the same belt as the A/C.
