A few 94 issues

My son has a 94 4R, 5 speed with a 3.0 v-6 with 140,000 miles. The first issue is a slight stumble when you begin to accelerate. I put new oem plugs, wires, cap, rotor button and air filter with no change. Next I'm going to change the fuel filter. If this does not take care of the problem I'm certainly up for suggestions.
The second issue is the drivers side axle flange, where the CV shaft bolts to is sloppy loose. I wouldn't think that this is normal but there are no drive line vibrations or diff fluid leaking out. I'm not exactly sure how that connects to the differential and how to repair.
The last issue is oil consumption. The engine has a small leak but I don't think it would account for the amount of oil the engine is losing(1 qt/1k miles). It doesnt appear to be burning oil but I'm not sure. Is this common with these engines?
Thanks for any help.
John:cheers:

Thanks Pookela, that's the kind of info I was looking for. I've done the tune up but I'll check these other items asap. Take care, John
