A few questions

A few questions I have on my "new-to-me" 99 Limited...

1) What is the stock axle gear ratio?
2) What is the TC gear ratio for 4-lo
3) 4wd - The h2-h4 postion of the lever is 2wd, then with the button pushed, AWD?, then actually moving the lever actual 4wd (tc splits powere 50/50 rear/front)?

I am sure more questions will pop up as I get into this rig more, but this is the start

1. If you have a rear locker you have 4.30, otherwise 4.10
2. 2.28
3. The shifter is for 4WD, in 2WD you want it in the Hi position assuming it will even go into 2WD if you are in Lo. With the 4WD button in, it is a conventional 4WD so you shouldn't drive on pavement. You don't have AWD, that started in 2001 with the center locking differential instead of the rear locker. When 4WD is engaged there is a 50/50 power split to front and rear.

The 99 limiteds have the VF3AM transfer, which does have a center diff. You can have
2wd -> H2-H4 button not pressed
4wd high range with center unlocked -> H2-H4 button pressed (basically awd)
4wd high range with center locked -> H4L
4wd low range w center locked -> L4L
