Well I told the Hemi GC would have a LONG night well, it never made it home. That battery idiot light turned out to be a little more serious than thought. As we were heading home on I-80 the Heep shut off and went to sleep. Looked like a dead battery, caused by a wounded alternator. I have to say the special Jeep

Nice pics!!! Looks like you guys had a ton of fun. Pity about the Jeep, I would be really pissed if my new vehicle left me stranded after a bit of playing.
You guys should combine the threads. Next time you can do the intermediate trails

Bulldog - the lift was great. There was a little Freelander in front of me and I was watching it zig zag all over the trail to get over little rocks but he made it thru. He hit his passenger side slider and it bent up so he couldn't open the door. I think he also had lots of little dents on his muffler can and other bits underneath.
I was just driving straight for the most part behind him. The tank was hit coming over a hill and I didn't move to the right far enough.
The 3 4runners made it thru w/o any problems at all.
Sucks about Doug's GC.

Those Freelanders do a lot better than you would think after looking at them. I took my GF's out a few times and it did better than I thought. It just suck in sand with those low profile wheels. It was obviously not a slider that bend, they are supposed to carry the weight of the vehicle.
Yeah a little lift goes a long way on the 4Runners, bet you are glad you had it on.

This is a follow up to my friends 05 Hemi GC, he asked me not give any details about his Jeep problems. All I can say is tell whoever you know that has an 05 GC;
"DO NOT DRIVE IT OFFROAD AND BE CAREFULL GOING THROUGH WATER".
He is very upset, to say the least.
Maybe later I can tell more.
