A few months ago my uncle and cousin bought an old 85 runner as a project car to just mess around in. The truck was by no means a show car but, in keeping with Toyota fashion, ran great. There were a few rust holes and the carpet wasn' great, but thats all you need for a good mud puppy. Then my cousin drove it. The day he got it we went out and got it stuck. The following 5 hours were spent, much to the dismay of our parents who were late for dinner, recovering the truck. After that episode my cousin worked on the truck some, fixing odds and ends, and then (as he had previously done w/ his '99 Tacoma) flipped the truck while wheeling. Now it is normal for an... "ambitious" wheeler to flip his rig, this was just dumb. It was night time, and without any aftermarket lights he had no clue how large of a hole he was about to sink his left side into. After the Runner was flipped my uncle declared the truck parked until further notice. Upon its recent release my cousin decide once again, to flip the runner. Only this time, it was worse. I havent gotten a detailed description yet, but from what i have heard he flipped the truck while attempting to slide it sideways... across the road. After this final blow my cousin decided to make the truck "more badass" by chopping the roof off w/ a sawzall. Moral of the story: dont give idiots nice trucks.
