A New Stingray Install

I finally got the time to install my Stingray bumper and Smitty built 10K winch.

I asked for the grill not to be welded to the frame so I could hinge it. It was no problem for them.

It fits in the quite snugly.

With the hinges I have full access to the inside for future installs or tangled cables.

I also hinged the front license plate frame.

I think it looks great. It might get it's first workout this weekend.

How much did the extra weight lower your front end? I'm riding a little nose high right now and looking at doing this install.

Is that a spring hinge? Where did you get the parts?

It is a hinged license plate bracket for a 1970's car with a rear gas cap. It's actually a little too strong. I will make a 3D printed spring hinge that can lock in the up or down position when I get time.
