A very basic how-to: Removing the Intake Manifold

Tim didn't realize it was you. I have to give a lot of props for all the vids you have and will do on youtube for our 4runners. I watch them to learn and they are great, keep it up.

I've just removed my leaking intake manifold from my 98 3.4 and I've realized that I don't have torque specs for the lower intake manifold (I only have it for the upper/lower plenums) can you point me in the right direction?
I've found a few online FSMs but they seem to be incomplete.

looks like 53 inch-pounds (4.4 ft lbf) for the cylinder head covers in several passes to achieve torque rating. 30 ft lbf for exhaust manifolds. intake air connector is 13 ft lbf, and the air intake assy is also 13 ft lbf.

[MENTION=76419]Doc2012[/MENTION] has a torque specs list that i finally re-found. i had used this a while ago to build my own and put it in google sheets so i can easily find it no matter where i am or what device i have handy.

Looks like new lower intake manifold gasket has finally fixed my coolant leak.
Surprisingly it's a fairly easy job, you just have to be careful with connecting back all the hoses and fuel lines

nice! i'm looking at doing this at some point too. mine's got signs of a minor leak in the past, and i'm not really seeing anything new develop after i very slightly re-torqued. but it'd be nice to get this all cleaned, gasketed and back to spec.
 
Anyone have the torque specs for the 3 nuts that connect the water outlet to the manifold? I scoured the FSM (and the forum torque spec post) and can't seem to find it for the 5VZ.
