Installed my ARB Differential Breather today.

Easy job. Took me 30 minutes to do but I have done these before. Longest part of the job was running the line all the way up to the engine compartment.

I've usually ran the line to the gas cap as most but thought I would give this a try and really like the turn out.

Installed CanvasBack Cargo Liner

These thing are great. High quality fabric with great heavy duty Velcro strips that really grip to the seats and floor.

All folded down:

Installed - seats up and cargo mat

Dogs will be happy to finally take a ride in the new rig.

Thats correct [MENTION=137782]Jasalvas[/MENTION]

Knowing that I would be upgrading the suspension I didn't want any special components to work around.

On my 05 I had XREAS and it leaked and was a pain to work around.

Just wanted a simple suspension so I could add my own down the road.

Got a couple items out of the garage and onto the rig today!

Installed my Metaltech OPOR Sliders and absolutely love them.

Started off with them on Jack Stands

Then used the jack to line them up

I'm really digging the new bubble wrap powdercoat option

But really they turned out AWESOME




But I'm also super stoked to open those boxes in the background :shrug:


Also installed the Rear View Camera Override Dongle. Thank you so much [MENTION=129513]bjohnston115[/MENTION] I'll get pictures up hopefully tomorrow of that.

Installed my VTX Viper wheels on some 285/70/17 BFGoodrich A/T KO2's. LOVE the look and performance so far. First time I have been on a BFG. Can't wait to get them dirty.

Was just talking last night about starting to plan a trip. Will hopefully make it out there the next month or so.

I love the canvas cover man. Helps out with two muddy dogs a lot. Finally let the dogs in the new rig this weekend haha

Really liking them [MENTION=59048]S p a r k y[/MENTION] As you can see in the pictures I took them wheeling a couple weekends ago and they really gripped the loose gravel. One thing I've noticed with them is they grab a lot more small rocks and will hear them fly off the tire. I think I'm just noticing that more because I'm coming from Toyo MTs.

Overall really impressed and love them. :bigok:

Installed the Pro Clip Hardwired Mount. Will take more pictures of how I wired soon but ended up just using an Add a Circuit and wiring it to the fuse box in the engine. Easy install overall.

Oooo, I like this! I've got a HT ham radio, but didn't see Baofang as an option from their dropdowns. Can you take a picture of the back of that mount? If I were to make something, curious if the belt clip could be used if the back were flat/flush enough.

Also, as a fellow 4th Gen convert (2005 at that), do you think the gas smell with the back window down has been resolved on 5th Gens? I've only "tested it" a few times, but I think it's a lot better.

I can do that!

As for the smell. I believe my opinion is a bit skewed because I had cut my exhaust off at the axle so I didn't have any smells. I do remember though that before I cut it years ago it was an awful smell and one time made me very light headed - bit of a scary experience while driving.

The 5th gen so far is much better. I drove with it the other day and had the back window and my driver window down and I could smell it but no effects or overpowering smell. It was very faint but still noticeable.

So yes, I think it is much better but still not fixed obviously.
