Decided to go buy some VHT night shade and tint my tail lights. I absolutely love the outcome i think it came out just right. If you are thinking about doing this let me go ahead and tell you to be careful how much you put on and to make sure you get even coats because if you miss a spot you will go back and spray over and the next thing you know.....tailight = completely black. Me and my buddy did my 4R and his Taco. His are just about completely black.

In the picture one looks darker than the other but its just in the picture from the glare from sun. I was surprised in how i got them to be pretty much the same darkness.

tomorrow i will shade my reflectors if not completely black them out. I shall post pictures afterwards. Also up next is a complete FJ swap.

Haha I know man it sticks our far to clear most of my tire carrier. I put on my shackle trailer hitch when we go ride for an anchor point. I appreciate the compliment. I’ll see what I can put together for a parts list.

Thanks man! It might have held up for a year or so. You’d be better off buying a set of tail lamps that come smoked out.

Crazy how far I’ve come with this build. Started stock and almost have it dialed how I want it. It was fun scrolling back through this thread seeing all of the iterations it has been through.

I’m no longer rocking a RTT but I figured I’d share some pictures of a rear bumper we fabbed up.
