About to pull the trigger on a Tundra TRD Pro

head over to Tundratalk Some good people over there, I've linked up with quite a few Tundra guys from there for pretty much all of my last few wheeling trips.

Just finished White Mountain in Big Bear this last weekend with them, one guy has a TRD Pro Tundra in Quicksand - only upgrade is his ST Maxx Coopers, and he handled everything the trail threw at him.

Good luck, you will love the Tundra in TRD PRO trim. We own both a Tundra and 4runner PRO. I wouldn't want to give up either, but the Tundra with the true dual exhaust note and that 5.7L V8.... I'm in love, even with the horrible gas mileage, I just don't care.

I feel just the opposite as most people on here, the Tundra is the perfect size and I feel the 4runner is a tad too small. Personal preference I guess.

Can't go wrong either way

We've had several full size trucks, and our 2008 Tundra is by far the best truck we've owned - 8 years old and I wouldn't consider trading it. I'm a few months into a 2016 TRD Pro T4R, and it's the best vehicle I've owned.

The 5.7 with the TRD dual exhaust just begs to be flogged, drove 700 miles round trip to pick her up, went and scouted some areas that I plan to hunt this weekend and I will tell you this, whether on the freeway or a washed out 2 track, it is a BEAST. Not missing the 4Runner at all, I recommend it highly.

Still driving my 2005 Tundra, which I love. Just not too kid seat friendly...(xtra cab, not crew)

Waiting for a 2017 4Runner Pro in cement.

The current tundra felt larger than my '05, otherwise would've gone for a Tundra Pro.

Congrats man! I absolutely love that Cement color! I just wish it wasn't a TRDP exclusive.

I had an '08 Tundra TRD Off-Road, and I'm still puzzled how the auto reviews flog the 5.7L for being old/out-dated. It's is incredibly smooth, has more than enough power (plus you can add the TRD CAI and TRD exhaust).

The only thing I don't miss with mine... the mileage (never got more than 16.5 mph on the highway... unloaded with a tail-wind).
