abs light

i have a problem i can be driving and all of a sudden the abs light will go on and then you shut off the truck and it shuts off and then again later on a day or 2 later it came back on and you shut the truck off it goes off ive checked the brake fluid thats good so does anyone know what could cause this

check the sensors on the spindles, though i doubt theyre loose....

just an idea, take it to an inspection station and see if they know. Or you could take it to toyota but you will probly end up spending money to get them to tell you anything about it. What im thinking is they would run some sort of diagnostics test.

on my dads avalon, his check engine light is always on and he has to pay alot of money to get it shut off by toyota for when he has to get it inspected and sure enough it comes back on in a day or 2.

your dad should invest in a n odbII scantool... that will not only tell him what it is, but will also allow him to clear it.

theyre pretty cheap too.

most likely i will take it to toyota it wont cost me anything at all thoe since my mom works there and all and i used to work there doing lube tech but i was just trying to get an idea of what it might be
