Three days ago, first time i've ever noticed, my ABS motor/actuator started clicking and the brake pedal vibrated. Never lost brake pressure and it went away after a minute or so.
Driving down the road shortly after, VSC Trac, Trac Control, BRAKE LIGHT all lit up and then a high pitch continuous beep went off. I ended up taking it to a shop. As i pulled into the parking lot, it was happening. Turned the car off, went inside, explained, and when returned, it wouldn't reproduce the symptoms.
The shop ran diagnostics and said "Yaw sensor lost calibration". They did a zero point calibration reset and it hasn't done that in three days. However, the VSC and trac lights are still lit.
The shop mentioned small pieces of metal in brake system, and would recommend new ABS sensor and MC, all for $1,800. I'd like a second opinion and any info if y'all have ever dealt with this.
