Abs Speed sensor Broken wire. Electricial queston.

My drivers side abs sensor wire got broken after lower ball joint gave up on me and wheel decided to separate from my 4runner.
I want to splice the wires back together instead of buying new harness and sensor.
Do you think my splicing going to work or Id better off be buying new harness\sensor?

it would be better to replace the damaged wire with new or used one. I'm pretty sure you can find used ones in good condition, either in junk yards or in members doing part outs in the classified section

Do you know how to solder? Do you have access to heat shrink tubing?

If so, stagger the splice points, solder the connections, then double or triple heat shrink it.

I've done it on my motorcycle. It was just two wires.

Splice away. It will work fine.
