ABS Speed Sensor

Guys,

I have the brake light on, Trac off, VSC Trac, ABS, Check engine and the speedo stopped working all yesterday.

I think it is the ABS Speed Sensor but I guess there are 4? Maybe one on the tranny. I guess my question is how do I know which one is out? Whick one directly controls the speedo?

Quick update:

Did indeed get a P0500 code at Autozone. So now I guess I need to figure out which vehicle speed sensor.

Not 100% on this but I'd go with the passenger front. My speedo was was going in and out but after replacing a bad wheel bearing and cleaning the sensor it's been working normal. All the metal fragments from the bearing stuck to the magnetic ABS sensor and killed the signal.

They all simply come out with a 10mm bolt. Clean them up and see what happens. Good luck

Wouldn't the computer take the fastest one? For example when you are spinning one rear tire it tells you the speed of that tire. The front tires aren't moving at all in that case.

I am not claiming to know for sure. It just seems to make sense.
