This was performed on my 2014 TE
For anyone interested in defeating your ABS and traction control for offroad driving its SUPER easy.
Just like in the Tacoma, we are just going to simulate to the 4WD ECU the locker being engaged. This does not actually engage the locker, nor does it display the locker light.
THIS IS NOT SAFE FOR ON ROAD DRIVING.
The first attachment is the wiring diagram. I have circled the signal wire we will be using. When pin 14 of the 4WD ECU gets a ground to indicate the dif lock is locked up, it will disable all traction controls as you can see in the image titled ABS light.
Youll have to remove the glove box, but after that... find the purple wire on pin 14 and splice in a switched ground.
