Abuse to a 4Runner

This is the main reason I never buy used Autos or Trucks.

The Video does show how well the 4Runner handles in soft dirt.:)

Their.

;):

This is why I bought new. 100% of the 07 and 08 used 4Runners i looked up were rentals. 100%. Anybody that buys a former rental 4wd vehicle = owned. Mongoloids like this think its an invitation for flogging.

I am really surprised they could change a tire. Image if somehow that video got back to the rental place. Stupid people... ugh they don't even look old enough to rent a car. So many things about that annoyed me. Wish it would have flipped, lol.

done with the vent

The video where the tire supposidly popped looked like they could have ALMOST flipped the 4R... Too bad it's stable enough not to :FOS:

Buying used is not always a bad thing. Buying a previous rental, yes, well maybe.. They offer extended warranties.. Buying a decent used like I did, really hard to find these days (2000 CRV w/25k miles, one owner, older couple)

:hello: :jump:

Ha! That is awesome!

Come on guys, it's just english, it aren't that hard ;)

As far as the video is concerned, go for it! It's a rental. Life's short, jump big!

Haha I was not going to say anything, but since everyone else pointed it out....

After watching the video, I did a Carfax check on the rig I was planning to buy....turns out it's a previous rental car. Needless to say, the video scared me off and I'll be looking elsewhere for my new rig.

What are you guys so mad about?? Its just a rental!!! If you were young and stupid, you would do it. Looks fun as hell!! Plus it proves just how tough the 4Runner is. If I did that with my Ram, I'd prolly be left with an axle laying on the ground.

Heck, that's my reasoning too! Have fun! I'm the type of guy that would drive a classic Ferrari hard until the wheels fell off.

A few friends and I are driving to La Push, WA this weekend for some surfing and we were thinking about renting an FJ for the trip from the dealership down the street and hitting the beach with it :)

nowadays, a lot of kids just don't think before they do something stupid...

Nowadays? My dad just emailed me a pic of him and one of his buddies form 1973. They were standing in the bed of his 1972 Ford pickup and the truck was sitting 3 feet deep in what looked like class 3 rapids...

His subject for the email was something like "I pretty much put my brain in my back pocket for this one."

And yet another reason why i am glad that i went with a proper off-road tire, esp. if i am going off-road. Bead strength is important, even more so if you're gonna do something stupid.
