AC Full but still not cold, next steps?

Read through a couple threads here on AC but couldn't find a specific solution to my problem

-My AC doesn't blow cold
-I ordered a refill kit and checked the pressure, says it's at the low end of overfilled.

EDIT: As I look at the picture I realized that the Yellow is not the normal range, but rather the blue is, my mistake! So on to the question:
I'm guessing if it's overfilled it can cause it to not work?

How do you release freon on the 4Runner?

I've seen things mentioned like clogged High lines etc, but was figured you people might have some concrete steps.

Fixed it!

I was a noob and totally forgot it had to be running when i took the pressure.

The instructions on the back didn't mention that, but once you unfold the rest of the instructions, it says it.

And once I did that, it was quite low and needed filling! Now it's cold!

FSM calls for AC operating at 1500 RPMS, on full blast, both front doors open if I remember correctly to check and then fill.

I'll bet the OP will learn for life from his mistake.

could be worse...my compressor seized on Tuesday. Ordered $350 in parts. In the meantime I will sweat.
