AC Has musty smell

My 2005 4runner has a musty smell coming out of the AC - I have used some AC cleaner but still get a faint smell. Anyone else with this problem?

Might just be the condensation build up from when you used it last, my GMC truck used to do that when I had my AC on for a long period

i like to kick the ac OFF, but leave the fan on, a few minutes before i get to where im going. it helps to dry things out. i havent noticed the smell since doing that.

Yea, in cabin filter.. When did u change it last? Change my in cabin filter, air filter, and oil once a year Amsoil

Drain tube

Make sure the drain tube is not clog,find the drain tube and run a small wire to see if anything comes out.water must be collecting inside the housing and not draining when it should.

This! If you find the drain tube clogged then that could be your problem. If you can pull off the bottom of the a/c unit I would pop it off and clean it out with some bleach.

Where do i find the AC drain tube - also I have changed the filter and cleaned out the ducts with ac cleaner.
