ac leaking too much?

Is this a normal amount of condensation coming out the bottom of the car from running the 4Runner's A/C? It's always had more than any other car or SUV I've had, but then the T4R AC also works better...

Yeah, mine seems to drip a ton of water as well. Mine's probably similar.

Perfectly normal in humid conditions. At least you know the drain is clear.

Mine does not drip at all. Which I always thought was odd. Is there a drain tube and if so can someone tell me where it is?

located at the passenger side right outside the firewall. you'll see a small hose there. it could be clogged or your location is not too humid.

San Francisco Area? Been getting humid during the summer this year, I lived in Hayward until recently.

But yeah that looks normal, the more humid the area/weather the more condensation you'll see under the vehicle. Some of the vehicles will have a steady drip.

Check the drain tube, but what elevation/humidity do you get in Iowa? If it's very dry you might not see much of any drips.

Except this truck has rarely seen humidity. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. Humidity is extremely low here.

I don't know about the previous week or so when you posted the thread originally, but so far it looks like this week is about 60% Humidity with 50% being the lowest.

It may not feel humid, but you are on the coast and get that ocean spray. To give you an idea Humidity in Bend, Oregon is in the 38~40% range right now.

Also if it was leaking oil/refrigerant that much, it'd be extremely noticable when you turned the A/C on.

Fair enough. Not on the coast though. I'm inland Bay Area where temps are usually in the 90s and 100s.
