Accessory belt legnths

I replaced my PS pump a few weeks back, and even at full tightness (Leaned against the block) the belt still feels loose, and now that its' been going for a while, it squeals on still tire turns occasionally, and when I turn to the ends.

I went to oreilly, and picked up what they gave me as I told them I needed the PS belt. But I noticed we have 3 different sized belts for all parts. Does anyone have the proper belt length for the PS pump?

The effective length is the PS belt part according to oreilly is 48.75" and I can't find anything in the FSM about the belt lengths.

Also, I'm having some issues with it warming up, but then when I drive back down large grades at idle, the temp drops down below the OD threshold and kicks it back into 3rd gear until the temp on the gauge comes back up. Coming down the grade it sits about 1/8-3/8's of the way down. Temp outside is low 30's occasionally high 20's. This is my first time living in this temperament (San Diego boy here), so I don't know if this is normal. Normal driving though, it sits just below half and never moves.

Thanks everyone.

Two options depending on accessories 35" and 48" my guess is you need the 900mm aka 35"

But your second part of your problem indicates to me that you have a air bubble in the radiator.

Double check your belt routing before you give up in the 48"

Wouldn't the air bubble cause it to go up and down constantly though, it happens in two locations specifically every morning I go to work, and they are both grades where you are fully off throttle.

I have AC and stock alt in mine as well. I'll go take some pics to see if that will help.

So you vehicle is level and doesn't have a problem but when your at a incline it suffers?
Sounds like fluid dynamics to me ether air bubble or physical obstruction. Possibly the water pump is slipping due to the high rpm which is causing a no flow issue.

Only when it's cold though, if I were to go out in the afternoon at the same spot, it would not drop down.

Could be your fluid is actually not coming in contact with the sensor and it's getting the air temperature inside your system. Is it full?

Appears to be...

Know what, I'll go ahead and just re-flush it with new coolant and add what the FSM says. I haven't done it since I bought it last year.

Full it till its full not just what's measured.
Make sure it's at temperature and the thermostat has opened before you decide its full.
