its only fitting that the best movie ever made, about some of the baddest dudes ever, has a 3rd gen 4runner in it. if you havent seen the movie yet, do so, its.... well fantastic and EPIC. and in the first ten min you should see a 3rd gen 4runner, black in color, it appears to be a 99 or newer SR5 sport, it has the sport flars(i didnt notice the cadling on the sides so i dont think its a limited. anyhow just thought you should all know.

They would use a 15 pax van in a movie for SF guys and it would resemble an office space type movie. Cuz all we do is paperwork........

that movie looks awesome, my pops went and saw it this afternoon, said it was a must see

yeah its ok C4, ive watched plenty of chick flicks and sappy movies in my day because the girlfriend(past) or wife(present) wanted to... but i must say i am very pleasantly surprised that my wife went with me to see Act Of Valor, and liked it. shes the best!

I went to the midnight showing last night and the movie is bad ass! Went with a group of six friends, one of which is a big jeep fan. The moment I saw the 4runner I yelled "Suck it **female dog**!" Pretty great feeling when I saw his facial reaction. :banana:

Hahaha. My gf is starting to try to guess the different years of ones we see. She's getting pretty good with the 3rd gens.

As far as the film, I've heard the opposite. The people I've talked to both said the same thing. That the concept was good and it was well shot, but that the characters lacked depth(probably due to them not being actors, which I think is great). Keep in mind that they were both colleagues in the film industry and they like to pick every movie apart. Hard for them to just sit and enjoy a movie. I'll definitely check it out.

yeah that is true, most of them did lack depth, i think only two got any kind of "depth" to their character development, but yeah like you said, they are not professional actors, they are professional warriors -way cooler! and they did not do this for money, they did it to do it and do it right.
