activating interior lights

Hi,
My 06 runner's interior lights don't turn on automatically when the doors are opened or when the"entry "button is pressed on the remote since it's new. How to activate it? Thanks.

Place the light switches on the overhead lights to auto. Map lights don't come on. There is a mod you can do to make this happen.

On both lights, the one between the front and second row seats and the one in the cargo area, slide the switch towards the passenger side. That will put the lights in 'Door' mode and it'll come on when you unlock the truck and/or open the doors.
