Add-a-Leaf or Zuk mod?

Trying to decide to do the add a leaf or do the Zuk mod coil springs to level out the back, what do you guys think?

if its sagging then the springs are on the way to being bad.
replace them with new or like i always recommend summitracing has skyjacker +0 and +2 replacement springs for 320 a set.
if you want a little lift then get the +2 if you want stock ride height do the +0
i have never and will never use zuk. just personal preference

i vote zuk mod. this mod has been used way before it was dubbed zuk mod. theres a company i seen overseas sells this springs for this mod

I'm with BV, replace the springs. Add-a-leaf and helper coils are bandaids that you probably won't be happy with.

OR do a chevy 63" leaf springswap, you should be able to find the springs for $150 on craiglist and a little fabricating and you have a sag fixed plus an inch or so added in the rear

i did the zuk mod and love it. but dont do it the traditional way you see, i got a front set of jeep coils springs out of a late 90's cherrekee and they slide over your bump stops so you dont have to cut them. that isnt very safe. the only way mine will ever come out is if my leaf pack breaks or i cut the spring. i cut 2 inches off before i put them in and i got about an inch over stock height. they act great as an over load spring and the ride is pretty good over all.

Rebuild your suspension first, ie replace leafs, bushings(urethane, front and rear), and you'll notice a huge difference. The springs in your truck are probably tired and in need of replacement.
Now our 4runner has a different set-up then yours(coil springs, control arms, etc.), but after rebuilding it all(even new torsion bars) it makes the world's difference.

i used a new set of rear springs from a 1998 4runner. it gave me a lift but you can always cut the spring to size for the amount of lift you want. no need to do anything to install them other than dropping the rear end so the spring pops in. the factory spring is 16 inches long and gave me like a 2.5-3 inch lift on top of the 1inch sag
