To my recollection, you don't offer an option for body lifted 3rd gens with the plate bumper.... correct?
Will this ever change?

Correct.
I honestly just don't support body lifts, and cannot justify the R&D costs of having to modify and jig everything for a fraction of the public that wants to run a body lift.

Interesting. My opinions is, your plate bumper is one of the most competitively priced and designed bumpers.
So far, my research shows me people who wheel their rigs want 35" or bigger tires. People who wheel their rigs and can afford it - also have a winch + front bumper.
Now my issue...I want your bumper... I have 33" tires...I know I will want to upgrade in the future. I currently have a 3" suspension lift. No body lift. And I don't want my tires to rub. :rant:
So your saying there's a chance..
Id pick up that front bumper ive been needing to match the rear!

You don't need 35" or bigger tires to wheel a 3rd gen. Look at BFAD's 01 4Runner. He wheels it pretty hard and he's on 33"s. You can also fit 35's without a body lift, you just have to do a lot of cutting. I believe [MENTION=75445]4Running Daily[/MENTION] did that.

For all around use, 33's are the best option, especially 255/85's. Body lifts are dumb. They raise your center of gravity, yet your ground clearance doesn't increase at all, and you have to deal with steering shaft extensions, stretched wires, the shrouder fan, and bumpers not lining up to the body. If you own a welder and a cutting wheel, you can make 35's clear in 2 days of work or so.

Id have to disagree, the body lift will allow you to move your bumpers up, and sliders, and allow for more up travel, sure it moves some of the weight up, but not as much as suspension lift or adding bigger tires, that being said I think a tapered body lift like I have is a good solution since the up travel in the back is limited by the vertical sidewall of the inner fender if you have wider tires. I also trimmed up front and at the same time because of the body lift I gained about 2.5" of more room to stuff my 35s into, allowing me to shorten my bump stops up front. I will say that for a week or so I was running a full 3" body lift and because the back end has such little weight on the frame it did raise the center of gravity in the rear significantly. After that I tapered all of my lift pucks from 0" in the back to 3" in the front, and it works great and is much more stable in off camber situations. the other reason to body lift only the front is because you cant lift it as much as the back, that being said the front end has more clearance anyways because its ifs, and the back has less clearance because the gas tank and lower control arms, so it makes sense to run more lift in the back than the front. the front end of the body also weighs less and there is much more weight on the front of the frame than the rear so the center of gravity is raised much less than compared to the rear.
I see where you are coming from, ideally you would be able to lift the front and back the same amount and have more balanced up and down travel at the same time, but it doesnt work that way unfortunately.

May I ask, do you have a 1.5" gap between your front bumper and the body?
Is it no biggie to you? Care to share pictures?

Yes I do. I painted under so its not as bad. It dont bother me till people mention it but only forum folks see it. Never once in person has someone mentioned the gap.
Once this rig goes full SAS I will remove the body lift. You want to build armor around the chassis/frame, not the body.

I just got a new CC - but have to wait to see if Black Friday will hold a sale. Seeing the group buy price makes me itch for my wallet.
I want a winch + a good powder coat + factor 55 accessories. It will max out my card but I'm going to try to do it all at once so the bumper isn't just sitting in my garage.
You install them yea? What do you charge?
