Addicted's new 3rd gen rear bumper

We are working on make this a bolt on bumper, but for now its a weld on job.

Pricing is going to start at $650 installed on the 4runner. The bolt on price should be pretty similar, but I expect that to take around 3-6 months to R&D and get the brackets into production.

looks like you got it on a '99 there mind if i ask for a whole truck view so i can get an idea of how it'll look on mine, and how it'll fit with my front plate bumper i already have, any options to add a tire carrier?

I don't have plans for a carrier just yet.

The pics are of a 2002 actually. Here are some full body shots. This includes our sliders and front bumper as well. All paint matched to Millennium Silver

That's probably the best looking rear tube bumper I've seen for the 3rd gen yet, nice work! Just a thought... but you may want to consider adding a piece of plate steel or even some thick sheet metal to go across the top (underneath the lift gate). It makes for a nice shelf to set things on, a place to sit (almost like a tailgate), and I think it looks cleaner. Again, just a thought, but I tend to use that area a lot and would miss it if it wasn't there. Here's a pic of mine to show what I mean...

We have looked into that, but with the design and wanting it to bolt on with the 2x4 center section is make it difficult to integrate that into the design.

I was trying to find one very similar to yours but with some hoops(for lack of a better term!) on the sides where it wraps around the body. I know I've seen some guys with them....almost like handles that come up and away from the body just a little...sorry if I'm not explaining very well...I'll try to find a pic.

Exactly! Thanks Street...not the bumper just that hoop style...to the non-welding eye it looks like a pretty simple thing to add to your design...is that possible?

I could add them. I have done them on some pickups and one Land Cruiser to date.

I've never been a big fan of the standard hoop, but something more tapered looks better to me.

That hoop is a bit bigger than I would go for...but similar...just something to keep that rear section protected from trees and the like on narrow trails...had a close call with a very painted up tree this weekend that made me think seriously again about a bumper with that feature...most all the LC's hit it but I was able to avoid it barely!

If I were to buy one I would probably want the hoop too, about the same size as the one I posted. Only thing I would want different is for it to be angled out slightly, maybe 10 degrees?. To me the whoop is kind of one of those, "your this far, why not go a little further" things. It adds a lot of protection in a small, and I would assume, cost efficient package.
