Adding A Cig Liter Socket Problems

I bought a cigarette lighter socket and an adapter that safely pulls electricity from the fuse panel. Then I realized that the fuses on 3rd gens are like micro fuses. What do I do to power the socket?

Thats for ATC fuses, he's talking about ATMs.

You can add a wire and an in-line fuse of your choice directly to the battery. Then run that wire to the lighter plug.

I read online that the X on the fuse panel is usable to add wires and has no fuse in it, would this work to tap into?

I've read lots of things online too :wink2: I've never heard that one about the x though. You may get lucky and find an empty fuse port that has either ignition or constant power on one side but you wont find the other end of the wire tucked behind the fuse block. Be sure you know what wire goes where before you start hackin and wackin!
