Adding Keyless Entry...

So, I've done a bit of reading and wanted to pose a question to y'all about keyless entry on my '96 4Runner. I'm pretty sure my truck didn't come with the factory keyless entry/alarm system (no security light on the dash, but I haven't checked for the RS3000 under the seat yet). However, I found a setup that is an RS3000 for the Tacoma (I assume it's the exact same thing) and was wondering how hard this was to actually install. Is it plug and play? Should I even bother with it and instead look at an aftermarket setup?
Thanks!

I was about to delete the photos from my photobucket but i will let you have one more look.

The key fob of the rs3000 is cheap looking, buy an modern alarm system with a paging system (pretty inexpensive) and i am sure you will be happy with it.

Thanks, buddy! I pulled down the pictures and guide and saved it incase I go this route. I have been thinking of going aftermarket for an alarm and keyless entry method, but if I can do something myself I don't mind trying!

Just because it doesn't have an alarm doesn't necessarily mean it doesn't have keyless entry... you'd have to pop the panel off the rear hatch to make sure. When I bought my 01 I didn't get any fobs, just a single key. Quick search to find the right radio code and programming instructions, a little hunt on eBay and I was up and running.
