Adio3x's Build/Pic thread.

The Shrockworks is worth the wait. Best looking front bumper for the 5th Gen right now (the DO is a close second but not a production piece). The ARB sticks out really far on the trucks and looks out of place in my opinion. I would give a call and see why the time line is so far out.

Could you order from them directly?

No more hijacking Andrew's thread.

Haha no worries on the hijacking lol.

Mine took a little under 3 months to build and ship. Its definitely worth the wait or even to take the drive. Stop by Missouri on your way down and we'll go wheel!

Deal! If I go, I do plan on getting out wheeling in different terrain than I'm used to up here - it'll be a nice change of pace.

I owe you a hijack - feel free to use my build thread next time you need to rant about something, lol.

If I swing over to your side of the state can you show me around your preferred spots to wheel?

O hells yeah!

Check out www.mo4wd.com. Thats where we do most of our trail planning. Got a big meet coming up in the spring out in Potosi. Its a far drive for you, but I know a couple guys from KC that'll be making this event.

*Trunk update*

Getting the rig ready for Summit & Moab coming up. I ended up buying some ARB Outback drawers on black friday from Sierra Expeditions. I love them, super solid, waiting to put the fridge back in til July. Sub is just temporary til I swap out my stock speakers for something better.

Those drawers are pure sex.

Andrew how you liking the 295s? I am getting ready for a new set or rubber and probably going with the same.

And looking at that front shot it looks as though your ARB skid took a nice hit.

Andrew, what are the specs on the drawer on the right side? I'm looking at a lower profile drawer and need the exterior to be pretty low profile. Saw one on the site with a roller floor that said it was 5.51" but don't necessarily need the roller floor. Thanks in advance.

Looking SWEET buddy! I have been longing to see a frontal shot of your rig since you installed the rigids. Looks SICK!

Now..... I want to here the story of the dent in your front ARB skid

I love them, I was really hoping it would snow this year here in Missouri to test out the new rubber. But on road, I have nothing to complain about.

The drawer on the right only comes in a roller design. Its meant to have the ARB fridge on top, so you can slide it out.

Dimensions are 37.20"L x 19.88"W x 5.51"H.

Adio3x very outstanding truck, good setup and awesome rig. Do you ever regret not getting Limited? Thanks

Thank you! Honestly, I never wanted a limited. I wanted a trail so bad, but at the time, they would not stock them on the lot. The SR5 was perfect, it came with the manual 4wd lever (which I prefer), leather, no navi. A perfect platform, cause I knew I was going to change out a bunch of stuff. The limited was out of my price range as well.

Thanks bud!

Thats after I hammered it back out lol. The first time I high centered on a tree stump and it looked like this

Hammered it out, second time I high centered on a double rock ledge, unseeded two tires. I don't have a pic of that cause I was :redbrick: lol.

Hammered it out again.

how does it handle on the trails, my understanding that limited has central diff lock and Sr5 don't. Anyway you truck looks amazing and what you have done with it.

It handles great, I've been on trails rated at 6-7 out of 10. Yes a locker would help, but if you can learn how to manage your power, it can get you out of anything. And I've never used Atrac before on the trails, my 4wd been messed up for a long long time, its goes in and out, finally got all those pressure sensors swapped out, so it should work (haven't had time to test it out). But yea once I get some ARB lockers in there, it'll be bullet proof.

Thanks for the info. My friend who is sales manager at Toyota has very good deals on 4runners now and i don't know if i should stay in my 05 4runner or get new one. I saw ARB locker 25% off on sale.

SR5s dont have a center diff so we don't need a locker. When we go into 4WD it is the same as a limited in 4H locked.

Not to hijack Andrew's build, but i'm trying to figure out between sr5 or limited. I have an 05 now with availability to drive in 4wd or 4x4 and i would like to have the same if i choose to upgrade to 5th gen, but my understanding sr5 don't have that and you can't turn 4x4 on drive payment.
Thanks.
