Looks awesome! I'm glad you tracked down a set. Other than you and myself, I havent seen any other 5g with this set. I guess we have something pretty rare on our hands. What kind of lugs are you running?

looking great Andrew!

Thanks Jesse!!

Thanks!! Yea after you posted your set, I had a feeling that a lot of people were going to try to get them. I think theirs one more set left, the guy selling them on the taco forums used to work for JLB, he has a set of real volks and a set of these. The lugs are Muteki Burning blue neon.

One of the nicest looking 4Runners I've seen -- you've done a great job!

And it doesn't hurt that you've taking some amazing photos as well. :bluejump: Just curious, what camera and post-processing tools are you using?

Thanks! I appreciate the positive comments!

I use a gripped Nikon D300, main lenses are a Nikon 70-200mm 2.8 and Sigma ultrawide 10-20mm. I don't do a whole lot of post processing, I do use a lot of custom settings within the camera. I'm still using Photoshop CS2, I think the newest one is CS5, I don't really need all those fancy filters. I just need levels, curves, crop, and highlights/shadows.

Stopped by the dealership today, girlfriends looking to buy a FJC, had to take a quick pic by a 2011 Limited. Just had my SW sliders welded on. Got a few things coming in the mail this week :D

I really wanted 305s but they dont make the duratracs in thats size for 17s. Next biggest size is the 315s.

I'm avg right now like 14.9 HWY. I don't do a whole lot of city driving.
Wow that's really bad mileage. Are you hand calculating or going by the computer? I have e-rated tires, a roof top tent, and a full cargo area, and I get 20+ @ 60 mph. How fast are you going on the highway?

I've never seen 20mph even stock lol. Well I do a lot of traveling between cities, so like 75mph on interstates, 65 on hwys. I'm going by the computer.

... 75mph on interstates, 65 on hwys...
I figured my RTT would kill my mileage, so I kept a record on the drive from Seattle to Bend, OR (where we bought the tent) along I-5 and around Mt. Hood on Hwy 26. We averaged 21 on the way down doing the speed limit (55, 60, or 70) and much to my surprise, we only lost .5 MPG on the return trip with the RTT... until we hit the 70 MPH zone on I-5. At 70, we dropped down to 16 mpg over a span of ten miles. When I dropped the speed down to 60 and reset the meter, another 10 mile span put us right at 20.5 mpg. I was pretty shocked, to be honest.

I don't know how important speed (versus mileage) is to you, but it's pretty simple to test it out on your next drive.

Seems like whatever I do, it still shows 14.9-15, I've tried decreasing my speed on the hwy, still nothing.

On a side note, does anyone know how much weight the factory crossbars can hold? I have my yakima loadwarrior + extension up there, just got my spare countersteer x in. Planning on throwing that up there with the yakima tire carrier. It'll be mounted on a a full 285/70/17 duratrac.
