Seems like whatever I do, it still shows 14.9-15, I've tried decreasing my speed on the hwy, still nothing.

There has to be something off somewhere. The lift alone wouldn't account for that much extra drag. Have you tried removing the rack or at least the fairing? Tires at 44 psi or higher? Did you remove the air dam under the front bumper? I'm just tossing darts here.

On a side note, does anyone know how much weight the factory crossbars can hold? I have my yakima loadwarrior + extension up there, just got my spare countersteer x in. Planning on throwing that up there with the yakima tire carrier. It'll be mounted on a a full 285/70/17 duratrac.

130 lbs, according to the manual. But that is dynamic, not static.

Did a reset and tried driving more like a normal person lol. I'm now averaging 16.2 hwy/city mixed :trophy:.

On a side note, Gobi Stealth comes in next Monday, a whole new fairing to sticker!!! Also placing an order for the ladder and ARB bumper in a few weeks!

Love the 4runner Andrew, beautiful. You have done very nice and detailed work! Can't wait to see it with the Gobi.

I have been looking at getting those wheels in that size. Having a hard time finding vendors and prices though. Can you help me out? Also, if you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for them?

As for the wheels, they are actually discontinued. I was told, I was the last person to buy the last set of 17s ever made. I think I paid $900 for the set. I'm pretty sure they have the Countersteer Offroads on ebay in 16s.

That is interesting, why discontinue such a cool wheel? I've seen the offroad ones, can't say that i like them. I found a guy on tacomaworld that is selling sets of the 17x8's for $800 out in cali. I might take him up on that offer.

Whats up Andrew! What was your final yeild in lift with the toytec lift? Or if its easier, how tall is your truck from ground to the top of the roof currently? Im debating whether I'll have clearance in my garage. Thanks!

Not exactly sure, I had them cranked up the whole 3 inches, I'll see what the height is when I put my gobi on this weekend.

YES! Bronze always looks awesome on black vehicles! If you find a set soon, I might just buy your wheels. :banana:

Doubt it though, those wheels in bronze were discontinued a long time ago. Not going to find one.

Woke up early this morning to snap some long over due pics. I've had the Gobi on for about a month now and I love this rack, especially cause I can fit in the garage now lol.

Decided to hold off on the ARB and wait for the SW bumper. Still waiting for my Gobi ladder to come in and than its time for some rigid industries leds!

Couple new additions.

Finally got my gobi ladder, its awesome.

And than I found a spare Countersteer X on the taco forums and picked up a used 285 km2 for $40.

Also got a gobi hi-lift mount.

And than I ordered one of these!!! 10 weeks to go! lol.:guitar3:

Already ordered 2 Lightforce 240 blitz's and a Warn VR8000 winch!

nice rig dude, hey how much did you get the gobi rack for? I have the same wheels on my rig with 285/70/17 and im rubbing like crazy, are you getting any rubbing issues?
