Adjustable Trac bar?

When I put a 3" lift on my Runner, is it neccesary to install an adjustable trac bar or drop bracket? Will it affect the handling without one? I don't want to damage anything without one but if it will be ok I wont spend the extra $ right now!

Your rear axle will just be off to one side a little (it was about .25" in my case). Not a big deal if you want to wait a little while.
