I did the TBU in December and had to change the bell cranks for my parking brake. I read how to adjust the brakes by cranking the emergency brake handle until it stop clicking, well, it never clicked! wasn't sure why. I kept trying to adjust them by feel with the drum on and off. i found myself with a sticking parking brake.
Today I went to adjust again and found that the passenger side parking brake does't pull back out fully. it seems like the line doesn't have as much slack compared to the driver side (is this normal)? the pin that it rotates on might need more grease even though theyre basically knew.
The TIP: instead of pulling the parking brake until it stops clicking, do each side of the wheel individually by grabbing the bell crank for the parking brake and pulling it. My driver side was completely adjusted so it didn't click while my passenger side took 20+ clicks. (the clicking is the adjustment on the rear wheels pressing outwards, I noticed this when I had the drum off)
Just my $.02. Hope this helps someone.
