Try any of the ad blockers available, or a different browser.

Not everyone has that problem.

I'm sure I might have gotten a pop up ad from time to time, but I haven't noticed any lately on this website.

I never get pop up ads. I use Ghostery ad blocker on FireFox browser. Just for this page alone, Ghostery reports it has blocked nine ads.
