Lately I've been using Megaweapon to haul photographic equipment all over the neighborhood, so I could produce the following video:

Yep! I briefly toyed with the idea of getting up next to you on Governor, but then decided that you’d probably think that I was a total madman—going that fast to get alongside you and then honking at you...

After getting my drone caught in a tree out at Kitchen Creek, and then making several trips back before finally
recovering it, I went out again last Monday and flew the drone some more so I could finish getting the video
footage I wanted. I haven't had a chance to edit it yet, but in the meantime here are a few pics of Megaweapon
and the Kitchen Creek area:

capture it for relocation:

Those baby rattlers are the worst. We had one in our closet once, was able to get it into a bucket as well. We decided to place him in the mountains behind our house near a small creek. I’m fine with spiders and lizards, but something about snakes really makes me hesitant! Thanks for sharing.

Yesterday I drove Megaweapon up to the local mountains to see some fall foliage and fly my drone a bit.

This is an original section of Sunrise Highway, in the Laguna Mountains, which was bypassed when they built
the newer road. Unfortunately it's blocked off so you can't drive on it:

Last week my wife and I went up to Julian, a historic little town in the mountains east of San Diego,
to celebrate our 35th anniversary. Here are a few pics...

We spent the night at the hotel, in their "Patio Cottage":

The hotel lobby was decorated for Christmas:

Breakfast was delicious! They served homemade granola, OJ, coffee, waffles topped with spiced apples,
and fresh fruit:

On the actual date of our anniversary, Dec. 3, we loaded up the 4Runner full of toys and delivered them to the Salvation Army. Here we are at SA headquarters in El Cajon:

I love going up to Julian. One of my daughter's favorite things is going to Miner's Diner for burgers and fries. Hour and a half drive for lunch? Sure, why not!
